Our Process
To be considered for one of our puppies, we require a completed puppy application followed by a telephone call to discuss your home, lifestyle and suitability for the litter.
Silverace is run from our family home by a household of five. Alongside raising our puppies, we support our training clients, train and compete with our own dogs across the UK, and complete the licensing, welfare and administrative work required to maintain our Higher Standard licence. Our schedule is carefully planned so that every dog, puppy and family receives the time and attention they deserve. We always aim to respond as promptly as possible and appreciate your patience during particularly busy periods.
When applying, please let us know about any holidays, weddings, work commitments or other arrangements that could affect when you are available to welcome your puppy home. Having this information at the outset helps us recommend the most suitable litter and plan visits, placements and collection dates smoothly.
Puppies normally leave us on their designated collection date at eight weeks old. If you may require a different arrangement, please discuss this with us as early as possible. Although we cannot always accommodate an extended stay, we will consider what may be possible within our licensing requirements and existing commitments. Where timings no longer align, we may recommend moving your application to the next suitable litter.
Families are welcome to let us know their colour preferences; however, we do not accept reservations that are conditional upon a particular shade of coat. Health and temperament will always take priority, alongside carefully matching each puppy with the home best suited to their individual character and long-term wellbeing.
Submitting an application does not automatically secure a puppy. Once your application has been approved, your place is confirmed when the £250 reservation fee has been received. Our puppies are £2,500 inclusive of VAT and are available to suitable pet homes only. All anticipated litter and collection dates are approximate until confirmed.
